RAP 2020 - 2022
Valmec is proud to announce that we had received formal endorsement for our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) by Reconciliation Australia, on 12 November 2020.
Building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and creating diverse and sustainable opportunities, underpin the Valmec initiatives included within this RAP.
Valmec respectfully acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, both past and present as the Traditional Owners on whose lands we work.
We recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.

Our RAP focuses on developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation, developing and piloting innovative strategies to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
