International Women’s Day (IWD) is a globally recognised day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women from all generations.
This year’s theme is #ChooseToChallenge which highlights and drives a unified direction to build a gender-balanced working world.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, Valmec hosted a morning tea, where we presented an insightful presentation on the history of IWD, shared statistics, as well as results from an internal survey, encouraging positive dialog and sharing experiences, on how each and every one of us at Valmec can “Choose to Challenge” gender bias in our industry, everyday life, and beyond.
